It’s been quite a while since my last post and there are many good news to be shared. I will start by announcing that Por Amor a la Caracola has taken off since I last wrote about the initiative to form this group that would hold a monthly beach clean in Playa la Caracola on Margarita Island, Venezuela.
It has been a year and half since we started and more 200 people have attended. We have a regular turn out of more than 35 volunteers and have collected more than 2000 kg of plastics from the beach!
We are very excited to be part of this year World Cleanup 2018! Where many people around the globe will be cleaning and collecting data that is later shared in the annual report published by Ocean ConservancyÂ
